Environmental Sustainability in Morocco
Partnered with Utah State University, the RootEd Global Morocco program invites participants to explore the intersection of environmental sustainability, water management, and community resilience.
Students will travel through Morocco’s diverse landscapes from urban centers to rural villages, while learning how local communities adapt to drought, industrial development, and resource scarcity. Through hands-on engagement with grassroots organizations and indigenous leaders, participants will explore sustainable approaches to water conservation, renewable energy, and environmental justice.
This immersive experience combines cultural exchange, community collaboration, and academic learning in one of North Africa’s most captivating and complex regions.
Students may apply to earn academic credit through Utah State University or join the program as a non-credit participant.
